ABOUT THE OWNER

Marcus Collins has been in the fire restoration industry for over 15 years. He has a degree in Fire Science with additional certifications in Asbestos, along with business certifications in IICRC Smoke Removal and unique skills in forensic investigation and inventory reconstruction.

He grew up in the San Francisco Bay area before moving to the greater Sacramento area. In his youth, he accidentally set fire to his Saratoga, CA family home and recalls the devastating impacts of that loss, including the emotional toll of an extended displacement, rebuilding process, and permanent loss of family heirlooms. This would serve as his first and earliest connection to the fire and restoration industry. Throughout his life his family were avid metal detector hobbyists and rare antiquities dealers, resulting in a unique knowledge foundation for rare collectibles. These amongst many other experiences have given him an unmatched ability to recognize and restore or price rare contents following devastating fire losses and enabling him to assist homeowners throughout the claims restoration and settlement process.
